Supporting Innovation in Agriculture
XMachines, a robotics and AI company incubated at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), has successfully leveraged the invaluable support provided by the institute to take the business to the next level.
XMachines recently showcased its pioneering concept on Shark Tank India, featuring compact, autonomous AI-driven robots designed to revolutionize various agricultural tasks like seeding, weeding, spraying, and planting.
Acknowledging the crucial need to enhance innovation in agriculture, the team at the ICRISAT Agribusiness and Innovation Platform warmly welcomed Flic Farm Pvt Ltd to its incubation program. Operating under the brand XMachines, the company has been on a collaborative journey with ICRISAT since July 2019.
"At the ICRISAT Agri-Business and Innovation Platform, we empower and support entrepreneurs with incubation facilities, scientific expertise, field facilities, and networking capabilities," shared Dr Victor Afari-Sefa, Acting Deputy Director General of Research & Research Program Director for Enabling Systems Transformation at ICRISAT.
